Paula Dorion-Gray, a Certified Financial Planner, has over 31 years of experience. Since 1981, her client base has grown to include entrepreneurs, closely-held business owners, corporate executives, educators, managers, craft employees, entertainers and professionals. The variety of issues encountered servicing this diverse client base gives Paula the expertise to effectively counsel any situation.

Paula is deeply committed to establishing a confidential and trusting relationship with every client. Her many long-term relationships are the result of a dedication to quality service.

Her philosophy emphasizes the importance of understanding a client's entire financial profile. The success of this approach led her to develop The Total Vision Approach™ process. The Total Vision Approach™ helps clients to create the financial security they need to retire and do the things they want to do.

Since entering the industry, Paula has made the conscious decision to maintain an independent status. This allows her the freedom to utilize a variety of resources and services to achieve client goals.

Paula was named as one of America's Top 100 Independent Advisors by Registered Rep. Magazine in August, 2007 (a national ranking based on assets under management for independent advisory firms). An honor she was proud to receive.

In December of 2005, Paula was elected to Research Magazine’s Financial Advisor Hall of Fame. Since its inception 15 years ago, only 78 advisors have received this special honor, which considers not only years of experience (15 year minimum) and assets under management, but also superior service, prior industry recognition and active community service.

In 2004, Paula also received the Athena Award. This award is given to women who demonstrate successful leadership in both business and the community.

Paula’s book on retirement planning Ready, Set, Retire was released in 2006 and distributed and sold nationally. As a contributing columnist, Paula's columns on "Personal Financial Issues" appear regularly in the Northwest Herald. She is regularly interviewed and quoted on TV, radio, and in newspapers and has been a frequent guest on WBBM noon business hour for over 7 yeas. Paula is a past President of The Rotary Club of Crystal Lake Dawnbreakers, former Chairperson for the Planned Giving Committee of the Centegra Foundation, and a past President of the Board for the Raue Center for the Arts in Crystal Lake.
